Rules to follow in “Un Goût de France” accommodation
Respect arrival times (from 2 P.M.) and departure times (before 10 A.M.). Please give us sufficient warning (48 hours) if you need to change these times. You are always free to drop off your luggage in the secure hallway of Le Pavillon Ponthieu.
Pets are not allowed because they can cause damage or allergies for future guests.
You will be welcomed in person by our usual hostess. It’s not a reason to avoid reading how the different facilities and home automation devices work. The booklet is left for you, to be sure to understand how each device works as well as the air conditioning. This booklet has been prepared especially for you and should contain answers to all your questions.
You must behave as you would in your own home and take care of your lodgings. The quality of the accommodation, which you will appreciate right from the start, can only be maintained if everyone is respectful.
Be respectful of your neighbours by keeping the noise down between 10 PM and 8 AM. Your neighbours live there all year round, so be especially careful not to make a noise in the entrance to the building and in the inner courtyard.
Please inform us if something is broken, damaged or doesn’t work anymore, so that we can act as rapidly as possible and take appropriate measures. The lodgings are inspected completely before each stay and you will be charged for any damages. So let’s talk about any problems and decide how to solve them together.
- Please do not give the access details to any other persons who are not part of your group.
Smoking is prohibited and will trigger the smoke detectors that have been installed for your safety.
The building’s inner courtyard is a pleasant spot that is suitable for smokers.Parties and evening get togethers are not allowed. The accommodation is provided for family use and is not suitable for events or evening entertainment. You may of course invite friends round for a quiet dinner or for drinks in the living room.
For any urgent request during your stay or before your arrival, please contact “Un Goût de France” directly at +33 6 51 94 82 65 or by e-mail at the following address: jerome@ungoutdefrance.com. It will be always better to contact us directly rather than use the Airbnb, Booking or other platforms which take a long time to pass on your requests.
Before leaving “Un Goût de France” lodgings
You must tidy the premises, clean and clear away the dishes and put any furniture you have moved back where you found it.
Cleaning costs have been optimised so that the cleaning team can do the job in a predefined time. As the lodgings are much bigger than a single hostel’s room, they takes much longer to clean thoroughly.Remove any waste and empty your dustbin bags into the bins in the courtyard.
Turn off all electrical appliances, lights. Close all the doors and windows, as you would when leaving your own home.
After the entrance hallway there is a black button. This turns off all the lights in Le Pavillon Ponthieu. Please feel free to push this button when you leave the premises.
